The quote, “If your memory was better, you’d realise how amazing you are” jumped out at me because this is what happened to me. For most of my life, I would think of myself as a shy, insecure and timid boy who had to work on himself to improve, develop and get better just to fit in with everyone else. I spent over a decade around personal development (watching videos, reading books and hiring coaches) to try and finally feel good enough.

When I hit 30, I had a career change and started my coaching practice which led me on a much deeper path. I was introduced to the Three Principles understanding which led to amazing insights and mind shifts. My mind started to feel clearer and clearer. Then one day, I recalled a memory from my early youth. I was only a few years old and was visiting India.

My uncle gifted my sister and me some sweets and I insisted on sharing them with his friend who lived nearby who I’d only just met. At that moment I had no fear, no insecurity, no confidence issues. My whole world got reset as I recalled this memory. I wasn’t the shy kid trying to develop myself. I was an amazing, perfect and confident child who had temporarily forgotten by innate awesomeness. This memory sparked a book and permanently shifted my story.
